1. Their customer service is amazing. Any problem you have, just email them, and Ilana will get back to you and help you solve the problem. Amazing. I have emailed her so many times, most often with simple questions, her email is saved in my address book. And get this, she is pregnant and due any day, and she is still answering all my emails VERY quickly! Ilana - you rock my socks :) I have a big problem with bad customer service and let me tell you, this company makes up for all the other bad experiences I've had.
2. The diapers are darn cute. There's nothing I like better than taking pictures of Jack in just his diaper. They're all solid colours, all gender neutral except for one (Raspberry Sorbet - I want one for Jack even though he's a boy, but DH says no way!) Unfortunately they have discontinued one of my favourite colours - Eucalyptus, but Ilana assures me a new colour is coming soon! I did buy quite a few Eucalyptus in size 2 so we have them when Jack grows out of the size 1's.
3. The fit. They fit fantastic! They are snap diapers, which I prefer over velcro, even though I've never used velcro diapers. I find velcro sticks to things in the wash because I always forget to stick it to itself. I love the snaps. You can get the size you need so easily and they stay put.
4. No leaks or blowouts! Let me discuss this one a bit more. I didn't wash my diapers enough when I first bought them. They take a few washes before they reach optimal absorbency. So I had some pee leaks. A few chats with Ilana though, and I figured it out! We also started using the boy fold and it made a world of difference. We've had a few blowouts, I could count them on one hand and still have fingers left. The problem? Jack poops every other day right now, so duh, there's just way too much! It also depends on his position. The last one he was in his exersaucer so it kind of pushed it all over - gross! Today though - no blowout! You'd be shocked at how well these diapers contain blowouts.
5. They are ridiculously easy to use. Even a monkey could do it. They are daddy-friendly. We use them as a cover/insert but you could also use them as envelope diapers if you prefer. It took hubby a few diaper changes to get the hang of it, and I had to tell him what snaps to use, but now he's a pro. He does every morning diaper change, and let me tell you, those ones can be the worst for pee! We wash every other night. The covers get hung and the inserts go in the dryer, for now, soon they'll go outside on the line. We wash after J goes to bed, by morning, we have more clean diapers!
6. Did I add that they're ridiculously cute?
7. I thought of one more! Overnight - they work.. awesome! Ilana helped me by suggesting two inserts and let me tell you, it works awesome, and its not as heavy a diaper as I expected! We can now go 12 hours or more between changes without leaks!
8. What's best? They've used these diapers themselves, so they have all kinds of suggestions and tips to help you get the best from them.
